Transportation From Belize International to Ambergris Caye PUR Private is happy to arrange Island Air for our guests from Belize International Airport to Ambergris Caye. The flights run every hour until 5:30 pm and are 15-20 minutes in duration. PUR Private personnel provide complimentary transportation from the San Pedro air strip or water taxi terminal. • Entry Requirements A valid passport is required for entry into the country of Belize.
• Non-US citizens, please contact the nearest consulate or embassy of the country to which you are traveling to determine your entry/visa requirements.
• Currency is the Belizean dollar, which currently $2 Belize to $1 USD.
• US Dollars are accepted everywhere in Belize.
• ATMs are available in San Pedro Town at the local banks.
• Ambergris Caye is in Central Time Zone (US and Canada)
